Joshua Slocum was one of the greatest pioneers
in the use of small sailboats for long ocean
voyages and the "Spray" was Slocum's famous
sloop. It took him from April 1895 to June 1898 to
sail her single handed 46,000 miles round the
world. Built from carefully researched and
documented drawings, is one a kind. Such details
as fully planked hull and decks, complete standing
rigging with furled sails, are beautifully recreated to
scale.
